Committees
There are a number of committees operating within WALK. These committees are made up of membership that allows expertise to be drawn upon and to ensure that different facets of the organisation are represented. This helps to ensure that every person involved in WALK is represented on each committee.
Below is a list of committees/working groups that operate within WALK.
Human Rights Enhancement Committee

Service User Representative Meetings
Service User representative meetings are held when requested by the service user representatives or any of the service users. Click here for more information on the service user representative system.
Staff Representative Meetings
Staff Representative meetings happen as often as is deemed necessary by both the Staff Representatives and also the staff teams generally. For more information on the staff representative system please click here.
Quality Measures Implementation Committee

Low Arousal Non Aversive Staff meetings
These meetings provide clinical expertise to be drawn in to the day to day operations of the services we provide.
Advocacy Meetings
Advocacy meetings happen weekly in WALK. An independent advocate meets with people who use the services to facilitate any advocacy issues that they present. For more information on advocacy please click here.
Equality and Diversity Committee Meeting
The Equality and Diversity Committee meets every two months. This committee looks at different ways of promoting equality and diversity throughout the services of WALK and beyond.
