Directions to Day Support/Administration Offices

There are two maps below that outline where we are located on 1 Longmile Road, Walkinstown, Dublin 12.

WALK is directly next door to the 'Halfway House' and opposite a row of shops and other amenities including 'The Kokonut' and 'The Longmile Inn'.

Parking is usually available in front of this row of shops.

Alternatively, car parking may be available in the car park of the 'Halfway House'. This car park is located on the Walkinstown Road (adjacent to Bank of Ireland, Walkinstown) side of the Halfway House.

Driving Directions

Please note that if driving from city centre direction it is possible to do a u-turn in front of the centre for parking outside the row of shops.

When driving from the M50 down the Longmile Road there is a bus corridor for most of the road, however, the left lane does break in ample time for a person to pull into and look for parking outside the Kokonut.

When driving from Walkinstown Roundabout take the turn off for Walkinstown Road. Note: There is no left turn at the end of Walkinstown Road on to the Longmile Road. If you are coming from this direction please park in the carpark to the Halfway House.

Luas Directions

The best place to get the Luas to is the Kylemore stop. From here walk across to Walkinstown Avenue and take the first turn left on to the Longmile Road. We are at the end of the Longmile Road on the right hand side.

Bus

The following buses go to either the Longmile Road or Walkinstown Road: 18, 50, 56a, 77, 77a, 123 and 151. (Bus stop known as Black Forge/Halfway House stop on the Drimnagh Road)

Directions to Training Services

Unit 13A Goldenbridge Industrial Estate,

Dublin 8

Inchicore Training Centre is located in the Goldenbridge Industrial Estate. The entrance to Goldenbridge Industrial Estate is off Tyrconnell Road just opposite the Oblates Church.

When you enter Goldenbridge Industrial Estate, Expert Hardware Store on your left hand side. Follow this road around and you will see WALK on the corner of the second turn right. It is opposite the UPC building. There is ample parking for announced guests outside the building.

Driving Directions From the City Centre

There are two usual options:

1. Drive in the Direction of St. James' Hospital. When on St. James' Road, continue straight on to Mount Brown, Old Kilmainham and the Emmet Road. Then, take a left turn on to Tyrconnell Road. You will then need to turn left in to Goldenbridge Industrial Estate, opposite the Oblates Church.

2. Drive along the Canal and straight on passed Parnell Road, Dolphin Road and Davitt Road. When you reach the end of Davitt Road, before it continues on to the Naas Road, you will turn right on to Tyrconnell Road (you will cross the luas tracks at a traffic light junction at this point). When on Tyrconnell Road at turn right into Goldenbridge Industrial Estate, opposite the Oblates Church.

From the M50/N7

Take the exit for the Naas Road (N7, exit number 9) in the direction of the City Centre. Continue straight down the Naas Road and straight on to Tyrconnell Road. When on Tyrconnell Road turn right into Goldenbridge Industrial Estate, opposite the Oblates Church.

Luas Directions

Take the red line luas to the stop at Blackhorse. From here cross the bridge on to Tyrconnell Road. Goldenbridge Industrial Estate is on your right hand side opposite the Oblates Church.

Bus

The following buses stop on Tyrconnell Road. 51, 51b, 51c, 68 and 69. You should get off the stop that is nearest to The Oblates Church on Tyrconnell Road.
