Walkways is aimed at increasing the rate of employment of people with intellectual disabilities by providing chronologically appropriate employability interventions, this is "creating pathways to employment".
Walkways operates through three individually tailored programmes.
1. PEER – ‘providing equal employment routes’
2. REAL – ‘reaching employment ambitions in life’
3. Social Enterprise
