Staff Representative

WALK has a staff representative system. The staff representatives consider options for strategic change and are involved in the implementation of same. The role is essential to ensure the voice of the staff teams are represented to the senior management on issues that affect them.

The staff representative systems aims to:

• To build and maintain effective methods of communication and consultation between management and staff.
• To assist staff with grievance and disciplinary matters.
• To represent staff views on the organisational strategic direction and staff policies’.
• To promote good industrial relations
