WALK's Community Gardens

Erasmus Programme

WALK were delighted to partner with Erasmus.

WALK were delighted to engage with the Erasmus Youth Programme and to invite Justina to our Community Gardens.  Her friend Clara attended to the gardens in the Oblates in Inchicore. The students worked hard at learning English and about Irish Culture. They enjoyed opening and closing picnics with food made from the gardens and cakes made with honey from our beehives. The students also practiced their beekeeping skills.  They participated in learning activities with people that WALK support and with people from the local Youth Reach group. They visited many of Dublin and Wicklow's most scenic places. Overall it was a hugely positive experience for WALK and we hope the students enjoyed their time too.
