Skills and Opportunities Updates

Funded by Ulster Bank

Follow this page to find updates, through photos, from the busy world of the Skills and Opportunities project that is running in Louth.

WALK’s Skills & Opportunities project ran from September 2015 to January 2016 and was funded by Ulster Bank’s Skills and Opportunities Fund, which supports organisations across the UK and Ireland to develop skills amongst people in disadvantaged communities that will enable them to get into work or start a business, now or in the future. The project bridges the gap between the business and special education communities to foster first steps to having a career. It is a structured programme building entrepreneurial and employability skills amongst the senior students of St. Brigid’s school in Dundalk and St. Ita’s school in Drogheda.
