Is an Autistic Person or has an Intellectual Disability

Wants to build personal skills

Referral

Has a HSE Referral to WALK’s services

The steps below should be followed if looking for a place at WALK.

How to get Support from WALK

Contact HSE

Contact the HSE to make a referral

Local Area Office

Find out which office to contact for your local area. Access to day services for adults with disabilities - HSE.ie

Meeting

The HSE will meet you to find out what type of support you want

Referral to Walk

After this meeting, the HSE might send your referral to WALK

Joining Walk

If WALK have spaces available, we will arrange to meet you. After this meeting, and if WALK agree, you can decide to join WALK.

No Waiting List

WALK DO NOT have a waitlist. If WALK don’t have spaces, we will tell the HSE to suggest another service to you.
