Teresa has been a member of WALKs board since September 2022

Professional Background

Teresa Caney Welan has been in the care profession for more than 20 years in both a personal level and professional level.

Why They Serve

She has lived in her area for 40 years and has seen a huge increase in Autism, special needs and complex disorders. She tries and works towards better services for our children / young adults in the community.

Her goal is for a better understanding and more education and easier access to resource for families.
