Opening Statement

Pat joined the board of WALK in 2012 and has contributed since then.

Professional Background

A native of Waterford city, Pat holds a PhD and an MBA from UCD and worked for many years in the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector in a variety of senior management roles including manufacturing, logistics and human resources.

Why They Serve

In his own words he is both humbled and proud to be involved with WALK. Humbled when he sees the immense and life changing work carried out by the WALK staff for the service users; very proud to be associated in any way with that work.

Personal Touch

In his spare time, he enjoys history and sport, the latter as an enthusiastic spectator. As a historian he has published several books, mostly about his home place – Waterford.
