Kristina Tully’s Journey to Work

Kristina’s Dream Job is to work in Administration and Reception.

On leaving St. Raphael’s school in 2011, Kristina joined the Link-Up programme in Roselyn Park College for two years before progressing to the Contemporary Living Certificate course in Trinity College’s Centre for People with Intellectual Disabilities (TCPID).

Kristina’s ambition to work as an administrator in an office led her to take on the QQI level 5 Administration Skills course in Rathmines College of Commerce in 2015. At the same time, she had a part-time job as a store assistant in the Haven Pharmacy in Dundrum.

On joining the WALKways Tallaght University Hospital programme in 2017, Kristina gained a wider experience of administration work across a variety of departments across the hospital campus which led to a role in Johnson & Johnson and a Community Employment Scheme in Energy Action.

In 2024, Kristina accepted an administration reception job in Grifols and currently works as part of the HR team. While this has been a long journey so far, Kristina’s determination to succeed, positive attitude and support from her family, she is well on the way to having the career she has worked hard to achieve. In a recent review, Kristina said,

‘My job means everything to me, and I have to say I would not change any of it for a thing and I also love everyone who I work with.’
