WALK is seeking applications for the role of a Ukrainian Speaking Community Connector to join our Day Opportunities team.
The purpose of this role is to provide support to Ukrainian individuals with disabilities who now reside in Ireland after seeking refuge and to help them build a lifestyle of their choosing and support them to develop a good life.
The role is based on clear principles of supporting people to make and exercise choice and marks an innovative and forward-looking departure from the traditional Day Services models in line with New Directions Policy frameworks.
The ideal candidate should be a fluent speaker in English and Ukrainian.
